What a fantastic week it was being in the company of the world’s finest gardens, designers, plant and flower nurseries, gardeners and exhibitors at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026.

Our tradestand was resounding success. Think overgrown Italianate ruins, the cool shade of a Mediterranean lemon grove, and the quiet drama of an 18th-century grotto — all reimagined for the 21st-century collector and garden-maker.

At the heart of the tradestand was our first ever mural style wallpaper. Soft sage and lichen-green ground, delicately distressed as though by centuries of weather, framed a colonnade of fluted Corinthian columns. Around and between them climbed vigorous citrus vines — lush leaves, delicate clematis white flowers and clusters of golden lemons — creating the sense of a garden that had gently reclaimed its architecture. It was both backdrop and protagonist, transforming the stand into a living painted garden.

Highlights of the Stand: Every piece was chosen to deepen the narrative of cultivated wilderness and refined rusticity:
A Fabulous & Rare Venetian Grotto Suite — The star of the show. An extraordinary suite of Venetian grotto furniture — shell-encrusted, rockwork-carved and utterly magical — that transported visitors straight to the lagoon caves and garden pavilions of 18th- and 19th-century Venice. Rare, whimsical and perfectly at home beneath the painted columns.

19th-century Sienna Marble Bird Bath — Carved from warm, honey-toned Siena marble, this elegant bird bath brought a note of classical restraint and soft Italian colour to the composition. Its gentle proportions and time-worn surface made it feel as though it had always stood in this painted garden.

Marble Wine Cistern & Faux Bois Garden Planters — A substantial marble wine cistern — cool, classical and ready for summer gatherings — stood alongside a collection of faux bois garden planters. Together they reinforced the theme of elegant outdoor living, where every vessel was both practical and sculptural.

Four Gold Stars & the Spirit of Chelsea To receive four gold stars from the RHS judges was the most wonderful affirmation. It recognised not only the beauty of individual pieces but the coherence of the whole…
