A wonderful English 19th-century terracotta garden armchair in the highly sought-after Grotto style, circa 1870. Beautifully modelled to simulate a rustic framework of twigs and branches, with a generously wide and comfortable seat, lattice back, rolled armrests, and sturdy X-stretcher base.
