A French (made in Marseilles) yellow coloured ceramic/pottery plate by Figueres. In the famous trompe-l'oeil style realistically modelled group of mixed nuts. Including almonds, hazlenuts, and walnuts each rendered with convincing detail, from their textured shells to their distinct shapes. The earthy tones of the nuts are beautifully contrasted by the bright, scalloped yellow dish, which has a subtly decorative rim.

This highly detailed and unique piece is a conversation starter  and would make a wonderful addition to any collection of decorative ceramics (contemporary or antique) or as a decorative accent in a rustic or traditional setting.
