A pair of 18th century Louis XV giltwood armchairs by Louis-Michel Lefevre maître craftsman in 1749. Each chair stamped 'L.M. Lefevre'.
According to records, Lefèvre made mainly Louis XV and Louis XVI seating furniture and is one of the rare menuisiers who also worked as an ébéniste, as some commodes en tombeau also bear his stamp.
