Product Description & Information

The Aegle Marmelos or the Bael tree is native to the Indian sub-continent. The tree is sacred both culturally and spiritually in Hindu religion. The speciality of the Bael tree is that it can be grown in places and in condition which is not suitable for other shrubs and trees.

The leaves are trifoliate with a tapering or pointed tip and a rounded base. In Hindu mythology, the leaf symbolises the holy trinity (Bramha, Vishnu and Mahesh i.e. Shiva). It also symbolises Shiva's third eye and sometimes also trident of Lord Shiva.
