A pair of George II carved walnut side chairs in the manner of Giles Grendey. Circa 1740.
Each chair with a scalloped foliate-carved top rail, pierced splats and drop-in seats, the acanthus-capped cabriole legs with paw feet, one numbered VI and the other numbered IV.
