A superb and highly decorative pair of Gustavian wall lights (appliques / sconces) cast in gilded bronze. Each light features a pair of candle arms and is dramatically adorned with finely modelled rams’ heads — a powerful neoclassical motif symbolising strength, fertility, and classical antiquity. Gracefully hung with prism spears and sparkling cut-glass prisms, these sconces create mesmerising cascades of light when illuminated.

Of elegant scale and exceptional quality, the lights display the refined restraint and sophisticated detailing characteristic of the finest Stockholm workmanship from the Gustavian period. The gilded bronze surfaces glow with a rich, luminous patina, radiating warmth and capturing every flicker of candlelight with brilliant, theatrical effect.
